Wendy completed the marathon in just over 5 hours, what a brilliant effort and all Lucy's relatives say well done. Not only did she complete the marathon but she smashed her target and has collected £3,818.38 for Roy Castle. What a great achievement all round.

The marathon is just next week and training is going well. Wendy and her husband organised a fun football tournament in Somersham last Saturday. It was a brilliant day with many villagers turning to enjoy the sport, food, cakes and beers. Wendy's Dad Bill was heavily involved with the local football club. The event raised £1100 which is fantastic and money raised via Virgin Money is now up to £1600 so Wendy has smashed her target just like she'll smash the marathon. Go Wendy

Wendy completed the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 5th of March. It was a very wet experience but great prep for the London Marathon next month. After finishing Wendy went off for a big Sunday roast dinner. Great Effort Wendy.

With Wendy taking part in the Cambridge Half Marathon shortly, we will have a better idea how training is going. The donations from friends and family have increased and she has raised £750 already. We are sure she's going to reach her target.
