Lucy Jane's Birthday

Created by Phil 3 years ago

We all celebrated Lucy's birthday last Saturday in very different ways. Richard rode on his bike to Barrington, Cambs were we lived,Ruth stayed home busy potty training her eldest, and we visited Tenby in the pouring rain. We miss her more than ever particularly this year as Ruth gave her another niece Georgie, who she would have loved. We continue to talk about her and she is always in our thoughts. We visit her bench regularly and so do many villagers who love sitting there particularly in these difficult times. I haven't been able to do any talks because of Covid so unable to add to our family total so have made a birthday donation on behalf of the family. Love you loads forever. Her Brother

Happy Birthday
Lucy Jane Bowen, we miss you so much. I cycled out to Barrington where we grew up, looked at our old house. Including the view from Chapel Hill, it seemed like the biggest hill in the world when we were little. I hadn’t been on the bike since September due to my frozen shoulder. It was hard, hard, hard, windy, painful and wet. But our kid loved to do nutty things, bad ideas and she loved to do things for her families and friend to make them feel special. Hope you saw what I did kid, it was for you. We all know you liked bikes and a drink, so it’s time for some rehydration.
