Birthday and Christmas 2023

Created by Phil 3 months ago

I am finding it harder to write to you from your Birthay to the 9th January as it always brings memories of the wonderful times we had as a family. It just reminds everyone how much we miss you and what fun and scares we would have shared with you. We all celebrate your birthday and will always. Rich usually cycles miles and calls in for a pint that he might have shared with you. He is now living on the beautiful Isle of Arran and so has many new cycle routes to share with you. They are all loving life on the isle but its not easy as they have massive amounts of work to do on the house. Ruth usually tries to get a trip to the seaside often looking across the channel towards your bench where we usually sit. Mum tries to get there and puts some flowers on the bench we stick to processco.

Christmas saw Ruth, Ashley and the girls with us which made it magical as they were so so excited to find the reindeer food and carrots had been eaten!!! Its was brillant but missed you so much. Mind we went up to Jamie's for Christmas dinner and all the family called round for games etc. You name was mentioned several times and stories of our birthday trips and your Oscar winning performances in our muder mysteries made us all laugh and cry. Adam's youngest Ada is a star just 10 months old and she reminds me of you !! took her to nursery for the first time off she crawled and mixed in and took charge of some toys.!!!  I am adding photos of our trip to the bench and Rith said you would think we were silly. It hammered dowm, we were soaked right through and the path down to your favourite beach was inches deep in water. The pictures illustrate this very well.

I must thank the guys at Roy Castle as they are lighting a candle for you on your birthday and Christmas. We certainly don't celebrate the 9th just try to get through that day its horrible and really glad when its over.

Love you Loads
